U.S. President Donald Trump criticized allies on Tuesday for their lack of support in the U.S. war efforts against Iran. In a social media outburst, he urged them to secure their own oil and emphasized that America should not be responsible for protecting the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump mentioned that the military operation could conclude within two to three weeks, and the United States would not be involved in the strait’s future activities. He stated that countries depending on the waterway should take charge of keeping it open.
The White House announced that Trump would address the nation in a prime-time speech the following evening to provide updates on the ongoing conflict.
Earlier incidents included the U.S. targeting Isfahan in Iran, resulting in a massive fireball, and Tehran attacking a Kuwaiti oil tanker. These events reflected the escalating tensions in the region, with both the U.S. and Israel actively engaged in military actions.
