Lindsey Vonn, who missed the super-G race due to a knee injury sustained in a previous downhill crash, praised Blanc’s performance as a gift to the supporters.
Blanc, aged 22 and a former junior world champion in super-G and team combined events, expressed joy in delivering a remarkable show for the spectators. The competition saw athletes facing challenging conditions, with several skiers encountering crashes and mishaps. Despite the setbacks, the race proceeded smoothly under improved weather conditions, allowing for an exciting showdown on the Mont Lachaux course.

American skier Breezy Johnson achieved her first career podium in super-G, adding to her impressive record in downhill events.
