The team faces a tough goal differential (-8), scoring the second-fewest goals (19) and allowing the second-most goals (27) in the league.
Forward Hannah Miller emphasized the difficulty of scoring in hockey and the importance of chemistry for a new team like the Goldeneyes. Being one of the two expansion teams in the league, Vancouver and the Seattle Torrent are still adjusting to their new rosters for the 2025-26 season.
Michelle Karvinen, a Finnish forward new to the PWHL after a successful career in Europe, acknowledged the talent within the team. The Goldeneyes are striving to establish chemistry and improve their performance as the season progresses.
