The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary reported the apprehension of 36-year-old Scott King in connection to a shooting incident that occurred inside a residence in Corner Brook. Responding to a disturbance call at a residence on Parkwood Drive at approximately 11:30 p.m. NT, officers found that King had unlawfully entered the home and discharged a firearm.
A male individual was discovered with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound and was promptly transported to the hospital. Fortunately, the injuries are deemed non-life-threatening as per the police statement. King was taken into custody the following day and is now confronting various assault and firearm-related charges. He remains in custody pending a court appearance.
