Director Jacob Tierney recently made a request for privacy for the cast and crew while they work on the new season, which was also shared on the show’s official Instagram account.
Fans eager to catch a glimpse of stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie have already been seen in downtown Toronto. Williams caused a stir when he was spotted carrying a Canadian Tire tote bag, sparking shopping trips to the store.
“Heated Rivalry” Season 2 is currently being filmed in Toronto and Montreal, with a possibility of returning to familiar locations in Hamilton, Ontario. The show, known for its queer hockey romance storyline, gained international popularity upon its late 2025 premiere.
Williams and Storrie have been cautious in setting boundaries with fans and paparazzi. Recent incidents include Storrie declining a photo request in Toronto and Williams facing a confrontation with alleged autograph-sellers in Paris.
Meanwhile, in Toronto, Sarah Polley’s movie adaptation of “The Bell Jar” featuring pop star Billie Eilish has also drawn attention, despite efforts to maintain a closed set.
While photos of the “The Bell Jar” set have surfaced on social media, there has been no public request for privacy from the film’s director or official accounts yet.
