“Health Canada Recalls Zwilling Kettles Over Burn Hazard”

A batch of Zwilling electric kettles is being recalled by Health Canada due to potential burn hazards. The recall affects Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro models with a 1.5 L capacity. Around 43,963 of these kettles were distributed in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.

Health Canada has raised concerns that the handle of the kettle may become loose or detach while in use, leading to hot water spillage and posing a scalding risk to users and those nearby, including children. As of May 13, 2026, the company has received reports of 21 incidents and one possible injury related to the kettles in Canada.

Consumers are advised to discontinue using the affected kettles immediately and apply for a refund through the provided link. For additional details, individuals can reach out to Zwilling directly. Health Canada also encourages individuals facing safety issues with the product to report such incidents through the specified channel.
