Canada has announced the selection of six athletes for the Olympic luge team, including five newcomers who will be making their debut at the prestigious event in Italy. Embyr-Lee Susko, Kailey Allan, Beattie Podulsky, Devin Wardrope, and Cole Zajanski are all set to compete for the first time on the Olympic stage. Trinity Ellis, who will be participating in her second Games, and Susko will represent Canada in the women’s singles event. Allan and Podulsky will team up for the women’s doubles competition, while Wardrope and Zajanski will pair up for the men’s doubles event. Ellis, who previously finished in sixth place in the mixed team relay and 14th place in the women’s singles race at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, will be aiming for success once again. Notably, women’s doubles luge will be introduced for the first time in Milan Cortina.
