“Bill Gates Takes Accountability for Jeffrey Epstein Ties”

Bill Gates took accountability for his association with Jeffrey Epstein during a meeting with employees of the Gates Foundation, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the philanthropic organization. The spokesperson’s statement was in response to a report by the Wall Street Journal, which referenced a recording of Gates’ remarks during the town hall session.

Public documents from the U.S. Department of Justice revealed multiple meetings between Gates and Epstein following Epstein’s prison release to discuss expanding philanthropic endeavors of the Microsoft founder. Gates admitted to the foundation’s staff that it was a significant error to engage with Epstein and involve Gates Foundation executives in meetings with the convicted sex offender.

While Gates emphasized that his interactions were not illicit, he expressed regret for drawing others into the situation. The Gates Foundation clarified that they did not provide financial support to Epstein or employ him at any point.

Gates acknowledged that the images showing him with redacted-faced women were taken at Epstein’s request after their discussions, emphasizing that he did not spend time with Epstein’s victims. Additionally, Gates disclosed that he had two extramarital affairs with Russian women that Epstein later discovered, although these individuals were not counted among Epstein’s victims.

Furthermore, Melinda Gates French, Bill Gates’ former wife, publicly stated that she disapproved of Gates’ meetings with Epstein, which contributed to the breakdown of their marriage. Gates also revealed to foundation employees that he had two affairs with Russian women that Epstein later discovered, but clarified that these women were not victims of Epstein.

The Gates Foundation emphasized that Bill Gates took responsibility for his actions during the town hall meeting with employees, addressing various concerns, including the release of the Epstein files. The foundation’s spokesperson stated that the provided statement encompassed all that would be communicated regarding the report.

In light of the Epstein Transparency Act, which mandated the release of extensive investigative files related to Epstein, individuals with ties to Epstein have faced scrutiny and consequences worldwide. Resignations and repercussions have occurred, with individuals like former U.S. treasury secretary Larry Summers and Nobel laureate Dr. Richard Axel stepping down from prominent positions due to their connections with Epstein.

In a broader context, individuals such as wellness guru Peter Attia, former Norwegian prime minister Thorbjørn Jagland, and political figures like Peter Mandelson and Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have encountered legal challenges and public scrutiny for their associations with Epstein.
