Trisha Goddard confessed she thought her Celebrity Big Brother co-stars JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes were playing a game.
She called their fast-growing friendship “intense” and a bit soon given they only met on launch night a week ago. She isn’t the only one thinking the pair are “game players” and causing drama for airtime, amid them causing annoyance with their fellow housemates.
US star JoJo and Love Island’s Chris spend a lot of time together and have been a source of support for each other since the start of the show. With many viewers backing their close bond, others have called it weird – and it’s certainly sparked debate amongst their housemates.
Trisha was the latest star to call the pair out on Tuesday night amid her facing eviction on the show. Speaking in the Diary Room, the TV legend confessed it was all a bit quick for her, and suggested they were playing up for more screen time.
She called them “game players” and said they were trying to “increase their fan bases”. Laughing as she discussed the pair, she said there was “certain game playing in the world of JoJo and Chris”.
She wasn’t the only one though, as Ella Rae Wise, who nominated Chris for eviction, continued to share her frustration with the pair after days of moaning about them separating themselves from the others. She didn’t name them, but it was clear she was talking about them when she discussed people not being themselves.
Daley Thompson also had his say, suggesting Chris was “a professional” in game playing or shows like Big Brother, saying he was “being everyone’s friend, being on camera more than everyone else, saying things to get you on camera more than everyone else”. He added both Chris and JoJo were “used to this type of show”.
It follows Chris and JoJo causing more drama and being punished for sharing secret messages with each other. The pair claimed they were talking to each other in French and German, after JoJo wrote something with her finger on Chris’ hand.
It was clear she was trying to spell something out, and Chris couldn’t decode it. She whispered to him that he needed to “think about it” and that it “made sense” but Chris was unsure.

He wasn’t the only one as viewers all began trying to figure out what JoJo was doing, and what she’d drawn out. Some fans believed it was clear what the message was as others questioned if it was code for something.
Taking to X, many fans began predicting she was telling her pal she loved him, possibly drawing an “I heart you” on his palm. Others were wondering if she was trying to give him a message.
One fan said, believing she was explaining her reason for being on the floor: “She spells out ‘HOT’ he was surprised why she was on the floor I think she was trying to tell him she’s too hot.” Another fan said: “Jojo could have noticed how Ella has been acting towards Chris and was telling him, and spelling it out so nobody would hear.”
A third theory added: “Did JoJo do 143? I love you?!?!?” as a fourth said: “I heart U probably.” A further suggestion said: “I’ve got a feeling that Jojo wrote that Ella likes Chris.”
