The intense game captured the attention of the crowd, with Nova Scotia clinching the final spot in Pool A, alongside Kerri Einarson of Canada and Kaitlyn Lawes of Manitoba. Other teams advancing from Pool B included Manitoba’s Beth Peterson, Alberta’s Selena Sturmay, and Nova Scotia’s Christina Black.
In a pivotal moment during the game, Armstrong attempted a challenging shot in the seventh end but only managed to remove one of Nova Scotia’s stones. Stevens capitalized on this opportunity, scoring four points to take a commanding lead.
