The game witnessed a total of 10 goals, marking the highest-scoring PWHL match of the season. In a previous game on Jan. 11, Minnesota and Seattle combined for eight goals in the Frost’s 6-2 triumph.
Contributions from players like Jessie Eldridge, who scored a goal and provided two assists, and Hannah Bilka, with a goal and an assist, fueled Seattle’s success. Hilary Knight, Julia Gosling, and Megan Carter, a former Toronto player, also found the net for the Torrent. Carter’s goal, her first in the league and the first by a Seattle defender this season, extended the lead to 5-3 with 14:34 remaining in the game. Corinne Schroeder made 31 saves in goal for Seattle.

Flanagan netted her first goal of the season with 9:30 left in the second period, leveling the score at 3-3.
