“Yellowknife Man Arrested for Threatening Security Guard”

RCMP officials have confirmed the apprehension of a male resident of Yellowknife following an incident where he threatened a security guard with a knife in the city center on Thursday. Law enforcement authorities received a distress call around noon reporting an assault on a security guard by an individual armed with a knife at a local apartment complex. Fortunately, the security guard managed to avoid any physical harm. Despite being uncooperative initially, the individual was eventually taken into custody with the assistance of a police canine unit. The suspect is facing charges of assault with a weapon and failure to adhere to a probation order and is currently being held in custody.
