Kendrick Lamar also had a remarkable night, clinching five Grammy Awards, including record of the year for his collaboration with SZA on the track “luther.” This victory solidified Lamar’s position as the most awarded rapper in Grammy history, surpassing Jay-Z with a total of 27 wins.
Lady Gaga had a successful night as well, winning four Grammys for her album “Mayhem” and hit single “Abracadabra.” Notably, her Canadian producer Cirkut received two awards, including producer of the year, non-classical.
