The funeral followed a two-day public viewing at the Valentino Foundation’s headquarters in Rome. Esteemed figures in the fashion world, including Tom Ford, Donatella Versace, and Anna Wintour, as well as Hollywood celebrities like Anne Hathaway, were in attendance. Fans also congregated outside the church, some dressed in red as a tribute to Valentino’s iconic color.
Valentino Garavani, who passed away at the age of 93 in Rome, was beloved by numerous dignitaries and celebrities, such as Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Queen Rania of Jordan, and Julia Roberts. Recognized as the “last emperor” of Italian fashion, Valentino’s legacy was honored by hundreds of mourners during the public viewing.
