Angellica Bell became emotional during Celebrity Big Brother tonight, but fans think they were crocodile tears. The CBBC alum started crying after the nominations were revealed, despite having voted for the very two people facing eviction.

Retired athlete Daley Thompson and EastEnders star Patsy Palmer were the two who got the most nominations from their housemates and could be facing the boot from the public. Daley was nominated by Patsy alongside Chris Hughes and comedian Donna Preston.

Meanwhile, Patsy was nominated by Chris. Danny Beard, former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa and the Only Way is Essex‘s Ella Rae Wise. Notably, Angellica also voted for both Patsy and Daley as her two choices.

As soon as Big Brother announced the nominees the celebs were quickly distracted by Angellica, who seemed to be quietly crying at the news. As people asked what was up, she said: “Just know, everyone, it’s really emotional for me as well. Just that I love you all. I’m going to have a shower, it’s quite stressful isn’t it.”

“Bless you Angellica,” someone said as she started walking away, while Patsy said: “Honestly, don’t be stressed because I’m fine with it.” “It’s a game, it’s fine,” Daley said, with Angellica having already left the room. Patsy added: “Everyone’s got to go, we’re not just in there saying nothing are we?”

On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans quickly noted that Angellica had nominated both Patsy and Daley, and suggested she was covering her tracks with her emotional response. “Both of Angellica’s nominee’s facing eviction- the guilt hit her then,” one person said, with another adding: “Angellica showing love but nominated Patsy WTF?”

“Angellica you voted for Patsy, don’t be two faced dorlin,” with someone else pointing out that “she voted Daley too.” Another fan simply joked: “Angellica and Patsy were besties on launch night and now they’re starting to despise each other lollll.”

This isn’t the first time Angellica has broken down in tears on the show. The star recently shared an emotional chat with fellow housemate Danny, who told her that she was his inspiration growing up – and Angellica gushed over her children’s TV career.

“I’m really proud of it, but it is quite emotional,” she while holding back the tears. “What I love about children is that they’re so open, they’re not tarnished by sinisterism, the world or by life.”

The star then went on to tell a story about a letter she found from a young girl who wrote to her. “She sent a picture of herself and her brother, and she said that she wants to get into acting – and by watching me she’s going to go for her dreams.

“Obviously her name’s on it, so I looked her up, and she’s gone on to be a teacher, and she went to drama school,” Angellica explained with tears in her eyes. “I feel like they’re my babies.”
